Fiona and Axeman Love Story

In my opinion, the Fiona and Axeman story plot is quite strange.  Then again, we are talking about American Horror Story where everything and everyone is strange.  If you haven’t seen episode 6, let me fill you in on who Axeman is.  Axeman is a murderer who went on a killing spree in New Orleans in 1919.  Unfortunately, he messed with the wrong house one night.  In 1919, the witches, who were studying at the Robichaux Academy at the time, killed Axeman. They trapped his spirit in the house for eternity…or so they thought.  Zoe communicates to Axeman’s spirit through a Ouija Board to try to find Madison’s body.  Thankfully, Zoe found her body.  By doing so, she also released Axeman’s spirit from the house.

Is more murder on the horizon now that Axeman is free again?

In episode 7, Fiona and Axeman meet at a bar.  Or maybe Axeman followed her? Anyway, Axeman eventually tells Fiona that he knows everything about her.  I don’t know about you, but at this point in the conversation, I would have ran out of that bar.  Fiona does not.  He continues to tell her that he has fallen in love with her over the years, and he has watched her grow up in Robichaux Academy.  Fiona responds by saying she doesn’t believe in ghosts.  Axeman continues to try to convince Fiona that they are more alike than she thinks.  I definitely agree with that statement after Fiona killed Madison for selfish reasons.

These two have danger written all over them.  Luckily, Cordelia is catching on to her mother’s murderous and selfish ways. 

Cordelia’s Revenge

After Cordelia has received the gift of seeing things she never would see herself after the acid incident, she is finally putting her power to good use.  To fill you in on her new power, Cordelia can now see scenes of the past when she touches someone.  When she encounters Madison, she sees the truth. Her mother was the one who murdered Madison because she thought Madison was going to be the next Supreme. Cordelia explains to Zoe that she is in danger.  If Fiona finds out that Zoe has been gaining powers, she will assume that she is the next Supreme.  This is not good news for Zoe.  If Fiona thinks Zoe is the next Supreme, she will murder her so she can stay Supreme forever and gain Zoe’s strength.  Once Zoe receives confirmation from Spalding that Fiona was the one who killed Madison, she is ready to seek revenge.  In other words, Cordelia and Zoe must work together to kill Fiona for the sake of the coven. 

Side Stories

Even though Madame LaLuarie was evil in her past life, did anyone else feel sorry for her when Queenie tricked her into going to the voodoo witch? I guess we will have to wait to see if LaLuarie survives the voodoo powers.  

Miley Cyrus: EMA Performance and Acceptance Speech

Did anyone think Miley Cyrus could top her 2013 VMA performance with Robin Thicke?  The impossible became the possible on Sunday, November 10 in Amsterdam.  Not only did Miley Cyrus display her infamous dance moves, but she also shocked everyone who was watching her acceptance speech.

EMA Performance

Miley performed her hit song, called “We Can’t Stop”, for the opening act of the European Music Awards.  Surprisingly, Miley wore a modest dress during her performance.  Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for her arrival outfit. 

Does anyone else think Miley needs to hire a new stylist as soon as possible?

During her opening act, she twerked her way through the performance alongside a little person.  Not too long ago, one of Miley’s back-up dancers, who is a little person herself, spoke out about how she felt ashamed to be a little person due to the VMA performance.

Acceptance Speech

Later on in the show, Miley Cyrus returned to the stage to accept her award for her “Wrecking Ball” video.  During her speech, she opened up her purse, and she pulled out what many believed to be a joint at the time.  Later, Miley confirmed that it was a joint she lit on stage. 

A few days after the acceptance speech, she admitted that she smoked the joint because she knew that her fans would love it.  Keep in mind, the EMA’s were in Amsterdam, and marijuana is legal in that country.  Miley was even spotted walking out of the Greenhouse, which is a coffee shop in Amsterdam that supposedly sells marijuana.   

We all know Miley is a fan of the green plant, but did you think she had the guts to smoke during an awards show? 

How is she going to top this performance? I guess we will have to wait and see. 

Survivor: Blood vs Water Tribe Merge Episode!

Redemption Island Challenge

The three Redemption Island contestants, who were John, Laura M and Laura B, walked into Redemption Island looking excited and determined. They knew that this challenge would decide their fate in the game.  As soon as Jeff Probst announced that the challenge was endurance, I knew that Laura M had a major advantage over her other competitors. Looking back at survivor history, females have done considerably better on balance and endurance challenges because they have a height and weight advantage over men. Unfortunately, this challenge was no different.  The challenge was to climb to the top of a poll and hold on as long as they could.  John struggled from the beginning, and he could not find his footing.  He was the first eliminated, and Laura B followed shortly after him.  Just like that, Laura M was back in the game to play alongside her daughter!

Post Merge

The merged tribes decided to name their new tribe Kasama.  Tyson, who is one of the best strategic players this season, wasted no time in solidifying a group of people to vote Aras out of the game. Vytas and Aras are siblings. Not only do they have great communication skills, but they also dominate in challenges.  Almost everyone is on Tyson’s side when it comes to voting out Aras.  Unfortunately, Vytas and Aras are feeling a little too comfortable in the game. They even think their other tribe mates aren’t even thinking about voting one of them off.  My favorite quote of the night was from Vytas when he said, “Blood vs Water should now be called Vytas vs Aras because we are in control of the game now.” Where did humble Vytas go from before the merge? We all know what happens when someone feels too confident and comfortable in this game.

Another shift of power in the game is that Tyson has now found the Immunity Idol!

Immunity Challenge

I have to admit, I was a little underwhelmed by the first Immunity Challenge of the season after the merge.  The challenge consisted of a memory test, and the contestants had to remember pictures in the order Jeff Probst showed them.  Of course, immunity came down to the two most powerful players in the game, which are Vytas and Aras.  In the end, Vytas won Individual Immunity.

Was anyone else a little disappointed in the first Immunity Challenge?

Tribal Council

We all knew that this was the end of the road for Aras.  However, the vote was not unanimous.  Aras was voted out, while Vytas was left in shock that his brother was blindsided this early in the game. 

Are you sad to see Aras go? Do you think he will dominate at Redemption Island?

Next weeks preview looks very interesting.  Tina is very upset that Tyson orchestrated the entire plan to get rid of Aras, and the infamous Immunity Challenge consisting of disgusting food occurs next week!

Break-ups, Weddings and Engagements Galore!

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West Are Engaged!

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West, who recently welcomed baby North West into the world, are now officially engaged! West popped the question to Kim Kardashian on her birthday on Monday, October 21.

West rented out the San Francisco AT&T Park to propose to his girlfriend of a year and a half.  This was no ordinary engagement.  West, known for his over the top personality, hired an orchestra to play while he got down on one knee. He also had the words “PLEEEASE MARRY MEEE!!!!” flashing on the field’s big screen as he popped the question. 

This will be the first marriage for West, but the third for Kardashian.  Kim’s first marriage was to music producer Damon Thomas, which ended in 2004.  Then, she infamously was married to basketball player Kris Humphries for only 72 days before filing for divorce on Halloween 2011. 

Let’s hope that this marriage will be the last for both of them!  They will be signing a prenuptial agreement though!

Orlando Bloom and Miranda Kerr Are Separating

Actor Orlando Bloom, who is known for his role in the Pirates of the Caribbean films, is now single after separating from his wife Miranda Kerr.  Miranda rocketed to fame as a Victoria’s Secret Angel. 

Orlando and Miranda were married for three years. They have a son, Flynn, who is almost two years old.  In a joint statement that was released, they amicably reached the decision to separate. 

The statement reads, “They have been amicably separated for the past few months.  After six years together, they have recently decided to formalize their separation.  Despite this being the end of their marriage, they love, support and respect each other as both parents of their son and as family.” 

You never would have guessed they recently filed for separation after seeing the pictures that were taken of them and their son only a few days after the statement was released!

Bruce and Kris Jenner Separation Update

Rumors have been swirling ever since Bruce and Kris separated as to whether they will officially divorce or get back together. 

Many have been wondering whether this separation will affect Kim’s wedding, especially since Bruce was one of the few Kardashian-Jenner family members who was not present at the engagement event.

One thing for sure is that Bruce will be walking Kim down the aisle on her wedding day.  This information came straight from Kim herself.
